The federal government has approved Friday, 27th August, 2021 as date to formally conduct Ground Breaking Ceremony of Umuimenyi Nkpa Road/Ecological Sites recently approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the cost of N1.3 billion.
The event will commence at 11:00am.
The project was attracted through the intervention of member representing Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Kalu and Senator representing Abia North, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, ABN TV reports.
In a statement made available to our correspondent by Hon. Emma Trumps Eke, the Director-General, Benjamin Okezie Kalu Campaign Organization, he noted that the event signposts the beginning of greater things for Bende Federal Constituency.

While expressing gratitude Rep Benjamin Kalu, he called on people of the constituency across party lines to be part of the event.
Hon. Eke also expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for awarding and funding the 1.3billion Naira project for benefit of the people.
