Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu on Tuesday hosted a prominent traditional ruler from the South West, Deji of Akureland, HRM Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi.
This is coming few days after receiving the National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a contender in the 2023 Presidential election in his Abuja home.
“I received in audience this evening, the paramount ruler and Deji of Akureland, HRM Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi. He is also the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas. His Majesty is a long-time friend and I also hold the traditional title of Gbobaniyi of Akure” the former Abia governor said in a post in his verified Facebook page sighted by ABN TV.
ABN TV reports that Sen. Kalu had in recent times received prominent personalities in Abuja though it is not certain if the visits have any connotation with the 2023 election.
Earlier, he received HRH Ejeh of Ankpa, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed where he said they had a fruitful discussion on the crucial roles of the traditional institutions and the challenges of today’s leadership.
