A commissioner of the Federal Character Commission, FCC Hon. Henry Egbulogo has congratulated the former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah on his victory at federal high court in Abuja.
The court on Friday affirmed him the authentic governorship candidate of APC in Abia, sacking High Chief Ikechi Emenike.
Speaking with ABN TV in Abuja, Egbulogo said Ogah’s victory is a long awaited one, stating that the party did the right thing by conducting a direct primary election as directed by the national leadership.
While saying that Ogah is in the governorship race to rescue Abia State, he said the victory is for all Abians.
He said elections in Abia had in the past been manipulated, expressing optimism that Ogah will be elected governor next year.
He says with Ogah, Abians will have an accelerated development which he has proven in the private sector.
He called on the people of Abia to support Ogah to emerge the state Governor come 2023.
