Fayemi Declares 50% Pay Cut For Appointees In Ekiti State

The Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, has on Tuesday declared a 50% pay cut for all political appointees in the state including himself and his Deputy Governor, ABN TV Reports.

Fayemi gave the order in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Muyiwa Olumilua, on Tuesday.

The Governor explained that he took the decision due to the impact of COVID-19 in Ekiti State.
