Family Of Slain Chinecherem Okoronkwo Says NDA Attack Shattered Late Officer’s Dream, Expected First Child After 4-Year Marriage

It was a shattered dream for the family of Flight Lieutenant Chinecherem Okoronkwo, one of the officers killed during bandits’ attack on Nigerian Defence Academy’s permanent facility in Kaduna State.

A family source said the late officer was expecting his first child after four years of marriage before the bandits snuffed life out of him. Okoronkwo was killed in the raid with another officer, while one was abducted.

According to a family source, the tragedy shattered Chinecherem’s lifetime dream with his wife of four years. National Director of Christ Ambassador Students Outreach (CASOR), a student outreach of the Assemblies of God Church, Dr. Amaefule Emeka-Charles, took to the fellowship’s Facebook page, to bemoan Okoronkwo’s fate.
