Family Members, APGA Leaders Receive Hon. Prestige’s Body Amidst Tears (Photos, Video)

It was an emotional sight on Saturday as family members of the late House of Representatives member for Aba Noth/South, Hon. Ossy Prestige and leaders of his party the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) thronged the Abuja International Airport to receive his body, ABN TV reports.

He was flown from Germany where he passed on after a brief illness.

Hon. Prestige, a philanthropist and businessman is popular among his Aba constituents for his people-oriented projects especially in the education of children of the poor.

Our correspondent gathered that his friends and associates waited patiently at the Abuja International Airport for hours before his arrival.

A Board of Trustee Member of the party and Interpol Systems Expert, Sir Chikwe Udensi led other party faithful to show solidarity and receive the body of Hon. Ossy Prestige.

Other Party leaders, including Chief Okogbue, the Deputy National Chairman South, Hon. Destiny Akaraka Nwagwu and others were also present.

It was quite a sober atmosphere as APGA members rallied to give the remains of the consummate businessman, top politician, and a successful party man a very grand and heroic welcome.
