Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph has expressed delight with the Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq’s move to Real Sociedad.
The 25-year-old is expected to replace Alexander Isak in Real Sociedad’s attack following the Swede’s record move to Premier league side Newcastle United.
The deal, according to reports, is worth 20 million euros plus 6 millions in variables on a five-year contract.
The club on Thursday welcomed the 25-year-old striker via their Twitter page.
Reacting to Sadiq’s move, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist told reporters that the Super Eagles star has made the perfect move that will help his football career.
“I am really delighted with Sadiq’s move to Real Sociedad because it will help to improve his football career.
“Besides, Real Sociedad will afford him the opportunity to play with some quality players in the team.
