Ahead of APC presidential primary election, a front line aspirant and President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan has reportedly received the endorsement of Northern governors elected under the platform of APC.
A source said the governors reached the resolution after a meeting in Abuja on Tuesday.
He said the decision of the meeting has been conveyed to President Muhammadu Buhari for adoption.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan has continued to embark on consultations across the country, seeking the support of stakeholders to enable him grab the APC presidential ticket.
He hails from the North East of Yobe State, one of the regions yet to produce the country’s President.
