The Ebem Ohafia Development Union, EODU in collaborations with the Ezie Ebem in Council and the entire people of Ebem Ohafia in Ohafia LGA of Abia State has announced date for the 2023 Annual Iri ji/ Igba Ekpe which will also coincide with the new yam festival of the Abia community, eliciting excitement from all sons and daughters of the community across the world.
In a release jointly signed by Chief Emeka Mba, the President General, Elder Idika Uche, Secretary General and Mr Ifeanyi Okali, the Publicity Secretary says the event will take place on Saturday, Orie, 2nd September 2023.
Venue is Abum Square, Ekeluogu Ebem Ohafia at 11am.
The release says, “This is an ample opportunity for our Community to thank and appreciate the Almighty God for the bountiful harvest using yam as the King of all crops.
