Ex-Minister, Ogah Mourns Nollywood Star, Junior Pope

Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has commiserated with the family of Nollywood star, John Odonwodo Pope, popularly known as Junior Pope following his demise after a boat accident on Wednesday.

The former Minister while describing the death as tragic said the entertainment industry has lost a great talent, praying God to grant the late Pope’s young wife and children the fortitude to bear the loss.

He also said the death of men and women who go a long way to provide millions of Nigerian families entertainment is regrettable, urging that safety measures should be put in place in movie or music shootings in riverine areas.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the late actor and other colleagues who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident.
