Ex-Minister Amaechi Calls Out Nigerians For Not Protesting High Cost Of Living (Video)

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, is frustrated with Nigerians’ response to the country’s economic challenges.

In a recent interview, he expressed disappointment that youths aren’t taking to the streets to protest the high cost of living, despite the economic hardship.

Amaechi emphasized that citizens should be outraged, citing the alleged embezzlement of public funds without consequences. He pointed to the situation in Edo State, questioning how politicians can campaign amidst such economic struggles. On a personal note, Amaechi shared that he can no longer afford diesel due to its high cost.

As a former governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation under Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, Amaechi’s comments have sparked mixed reactions.

Some critics argue that he’s being hypocritical, given his past involvement in the government. Others see his statement as a call to action, urging Nigerians to demand change.
