Former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim on Tuesday decamped to the All Progressive Congress (APC), ABN TV reports.
Ohakim was the gubernatorial candidate of the Accord Party in 2019 governorship election in Imo State. He was received by Imo APC leaders at a ceremony organised to welcome him to the party.
Ohakim was elected Governor of Imo State on 28th April, 2007 and was sworn in on 29th May, 2007 as the 13th Governor of Imo State and the 4th to be democratically elected under the platform of Progressives Peoples Alliance (PPA).
