Europa League: Atalanta Not Scared Of Liverpool — Lookman

Ademola Lookman has said Atalanta will make things difficult for Liverpool in their UEFA Europa League clash.

Liverpool will host Gian Piero Gasperini’s side in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at Anfield on Thursday (today).

Lookman have first hand experience of what the atmosphere at Anfield is like having played at the ground during his stint with Everton, Fulham and Leicester City.

The Nigeria international is confident of a good outing against Jurgen Klopp’s men.

“The spectacle speaks for itself, but for us, there is an opportunity for us to go and show what we are about,” Lookman told The Athletic.

“We’ve earned the right to be here, so let’s go there and play our football.”

The 26-year-old has played against Liverpool five times in the past, registering one goal and one assist.
