You Have Been Equipped To Replace Me – President Buhari To Out-Going Cabinet

President Muhammadu Buhari has told the outgoing members of his cabinet that through the years of their service under him, they have been equipped to take up higher offices.

Buhari said this while bidding farewell to the outgoing Ministers at a valedictory session in Abuja, for appointees leaving the Federal Executive Council.

”I have no doubt that if the next President emerges from among former members of this cabinet, like any other aspirant, ample competence and outstanding service delivery would be on display. This will be part of our legacies to Nigerians.,” Buhari said.

He commended them for being sacrificial and serving the country with dignity and honour.

Buhari commended those aspiring to take over from him for their courage to take such a decision and for their compliance with his directive for them to resign.

The President wished them success in the upcoming elections and in their future endeavours.
