EPL: Man City Identify Manager To Succeed Guardiola At Etihad Stadium

If Pep Guardiola departs the Etihad at the end of the season, Manchester City is reportedly contemplating Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta as their next manager.

Man City, according to Four Four Two, are major fans of Arteta’s work at Arsenal so far.

Man City sees Arteta as the ideal choice to succeed Guardiola.
Arteta spent over three years as Guardiola’s assistant at Manchester City before taking over at Arsenal.

The Citizens are in an uncertain era because of a Premier League investigation into financial rule violations.

The issue has cast considerable questions on Guardiola’s position at the club.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager had previously stated that he would leave Manchester City if it was proven that the club had misled to him.

Guardiola is unlikely to stay in command of Manchester City beyond this season, with Paris Saint-Germain ready to make an offer if he leaves the Premier League champions.
