An Abia-based non-governmental organisation, Enyioma Foundation Int’l led by the Director General, Arc Chris Nwosu has visited the family of Mr & Mrs Sunday Awa Mba at Eziukwu Irem compound, Umuakpaeme Autonomous Community, Item, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
A social media user, Promise Uzoma Okoro had taken to his Facebook page to post about the unfortunate demise of Miss Ijeoma Rose Awa Mba, daughter of the Mbas who lost her life giving birth to a bouncing girl at Royal Cross Methodist Hospital, Ugwueke Bende Local Government Area.
Touched by their plights, the Founder/President of Enyioma Foundation INT’L Chief Dr Enyinnaya Duke Ako Atulomah mobilised his team to visit the bereaved family on Saturday where some donations were equally made, the media and publicity unit of the foundation said in a statement.
Speaking at the countryhome of the bereaved family, the DG of the foundation, Arc Chris Nwosu consoled the family over the unfortunate and untimely death of their daughter.
He said the founder of the foundation, Dr Duke Atulomah who is a passionate Abian saw the viral video where Mrs Nnenna Awa was lamenting over the death of her daughter and felt pity over the circumstances surrounding her death.
He said the loss of a beloved one is usually a painful experience but death is an inevitable end to every mortal.
He urged Mrs Nnenna Awa Mba to train and guide the new born baby in the ways of our Lord so she will grow to be a shining light to the immediate community and beyond.
He also prayed that God grant the deceased eternal rest, comfort the family and give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding, the father of the deceased, Mr Sunday Awa Mba thanked the founder of the foundation for his magnanimity and love to his family, he said the unexpected visit from the foundation came as a very big surprise to them and prayed that God will continue to take the foundation to greater heights.
The Director General was accompanied on the visit by Board Members of the Foundation.
