Senator representing Abia North district, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu has commiserated with the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Janet Agbede over the death of policemen during the #EndSARS protest, ABN TV reports.
The Senate Chief Whip who was visibly sad arrived at the CP’s office in Umuahia on Wednesday in the company of his aides.
He assured of his support to help the command get over losses incurred during the period, especially in equipment.
Responding, the Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Agbede expressed gratitude to the former governor for finding time to commiserate with the command.

She assured of the readiness of her command to put in their best to ensure that Abians can sleep with their eyes closed before, during, and after the festive season.
The CP promised that she has put the necessary strategies in place to ensure that sons and daughters of Abia coming from outside the state and country, along with their family members are safe.
