The House of Representatives Joint Committee on Human Rights Violations by SARS has put out dedicated lines and email for the general public.
This was announced by the Chairman House Committee on Justice, Hon Ugonna Ozurigbo in a press statement.
The numbers are ONLY for WhatsApp and SMS messages.
The statement said, “For those whose relations, siblings or wards are under unlawful detention or being currently held by police for protesting against SARS.
“For those whose relations, wards or siblings have been killed by SARS
“For those who have fallen victim of SARS brutality or suffered unlawful seizure of their property”.
In a chat with ABN TV on Saturday, Hon Ozurigbo said the private email was created for people to have confidence in the process, noting that their identities will be protected.
He said in few hours after creating the email, over a thousand complaints were received.
