#EndSARS: In Demanding For Justice, Don’t Allow Others Suffer Injustice – Hon. Nkole Advises Youths

As the #EndSARS protests across the country begin to witness bloody violence, the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency of Abia State, Hon. Uko Nkole has cautioned the youths against meting injustice to other members of society.

While acknowledging the genuineness of their demands and their rights to peaceful protest, Hon. Nkole expressed dissatisfaction with the wanton destruction of public assets by those who have infiltrated the protests as well as restriction of movement of others, insisting that it disrupts their economic pursuit.

Speaking with ABN TV shortly after his recognition as a fellow Nigerian Institute of Town Planners in Abuja on Tuesday, the lawmaker said it is the right of the rest of citizens to live and move freely within the ambit of the law, adding that the House of Representatives feels their pulse.

“The Speaker has made a position. The youths should trust leadership. There is no perfect situation anywhere in the world. They should shun acts of destruction. Damaging critical national assets is not in the interest of anyone. I will appeal to them to sheath their sword and come to the table of negotiation” he urged.
