#EndSars: Ikpeazu Moves To Restore Damaged Infrastructure

Abia state governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has set up a 12-man committee to ascertain the level of damage to private and public infrastructure as a result of the recent #EndSARS protests in the state.

This the state government says this is to enable government it begin immediate restoration measures.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, the committee members are expected to be inaugurated today, Friday 23rd October 2020, at 4 pm in the Executive Chambers of Government House, Umuahia

“Seceurity agents enforcing the existing curfew are hereby directed to allow the above individuals and members of the Judicial Panel of Enquiry on brutality and extrajudicial killings passage to and fro Government House, Umuahia, today to enable them attend the inauguration and return home thereafter.” he said.
