Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, a prominent social media influencer, has publicly accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, of attempting to intimidate protesters in the nation’s capital.
This statement comes as protesters face off against authorities at the Berger Roundabout in Abuja, where police deployed tear gas to disperse the crowd.
VeryDarkMan, speaking moments before the chaos erupted, urged President Ahmed Tinubu to address the nation amid the ongoing protests across the country. “The government should address us, Tinubu should address us. Wike is trying to bully us, and it’s not fair,” he said.

The protests, now in their second day, are taking place in Abuja, Lagos, and other parts of Nigeria, with demonstrators demanding action from the government. Despite an Abuja High Court order restricting protesters to the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, protest leaders claim they have not received a copy of the order, leading to a standoff with authorities.
The situation remains tense, with protesters vowing to continue their demonstrations until their demands are met.
