Elections Must Be Postponed, If Not, It Will Be Inconclusive – Primate Ayodele

In order to prevent an inconclusive election, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church urged the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to postpone the general election date.

According to Primate Ayodele, if the election is held on the designated day, it won’t take place in some regions because someone will sabotage it.

In a statement sent by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele argued that postponing the poll would allow INEC to better prepare for it.

He uttered: “The general elections won’t take place in some areas if INEC doesn’t postpone them, which will result in a contest that isn’t decided. Some individuals intend to disrupt the election in those places”.
