Elder Prince Ndubuisi Onugu Set For Final Journey In Asaga Ohafia [See Poster]

The family of Late Eze Elder and Ugoeze Elder Onugu Eye Onugu, of Ezema Atta I of Asaga Ukwu Autonomous Community, Ohafia LGA, has announced the burial arrangements for their beloved son, Elder Hon. Prince Ndubuisi Onugu, who passed away suddenly on February 17, 2025, at the age of 64.

A respected community leader, devoted family man, and accomplished public servant, Elder Hon. Onugu’s passing has thrown the entire Asaga Ohafia community into mourning.

According to the funeral programme, the burial rites will begin on Wednesday, April 23, 2025:

1:00 PM: The body will leave Mben Mortuary, Ebem Ohafia, to the Ohafia Local Government Council, where it will be received by the staff and management.

1:30 PM: A procession will move from the council to his hometown, Asaga Ohafia. The body will be received at the Ndi Uma Oden Okwara Compound.

4:00 PM: Lying-in-state at the family residence at 116 Ezera Road, Asaga Ohafia.

6:00–8:00 PM: A Service of Songs will be held at Uma Ukpai Memorial Field, Asaga Ohafia, by the All Saints Presbyterian Church, Asaga Ohafia.

The final funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Presbyterian Church, Asaga Ohafia.
