As Muslim faithful globally celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has called on Nigerians to remain committed to God in prayers for peace, unity, security, and progress of the country.
In a Sallah message on Tuesday, the Minister felicitated with all Muslim faithful across the country, wishing them the blessings and guidance of Allah.
The Minister further appealed to Nigerians to embrace the virtues of love, peace, charity, and sacrifice as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed.

He noted that the significance of the Islamic celebration has a great positive impact in enhancing the peace, unity, and progress of the country.
He further underlined that the federal government is committed to overcoming current challenges facing the country, particularly security, socio-economic, and public health arising from COVID-19.
While applauding the people of Abia his state for remaining peaceful and committed to national unity, he urged them to continually adhere strictly to all precautionary measures put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic
