Operatives of the Kano Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 13 suspected internet fraudsters in Badawa area of Kano metropolis, Kano State.
The suspects were arrested following intelligence signalling a syndicate of suspected internet fraudsters perpetrating cyber- related crimes where they were arrested.
Dele Oyewale, the Spokesman for the EFCC, who confirmed the arrests in a statement to Vanguard on Friday, said that several incriminating items were recovered from the suspects.
Oyewale, said that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations were concluded.
