Operatives of the Ilorin Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters within a week.
The latest operation, carried out on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, led to the arrest of 15 individuals in the Tanke Oke-Odo area of Ilorin, following credible intelligence linking them to online fraudulent activities.
This follows an earlier raid on Friday, March 22, 2025, when EFCC operatives apprehended 22 suspects in different locations, including Tanke, Alao Farm Estate, Yidi Road, and Irewolede areas of the state capital.
Items recovered during the operations included eight luxury cars, smartphones, and high-end laptop computers suspected to have been used for fraudulent activities.
