Editor-In-Chief SportsDay Newspapers, Ben Alaiya Is Dead

Ben Alaiya, a one-time Press Officer for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, has passed on.

Alaiya was the Editor-in-Chief of SportsDay Newspapers.

ABN TV understands that the sports journalist died in his village in Benin.

Reacting to Alaiya’s death, Aloy Chukwuemeka, the Director of Football, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Ilorin, wrote on his known Facebook page on Wednesday afternoon: “Shocking and painful. May his soul Rest In Peace.
