DSS Confirms Plot To Create Interim Government In Nigeria, Identifies Key Players

The Directorate of State Services (DSS) announced on Wednesday that it had identified several key actors in Nigeria’s plot for an Interim Government.

The CIA announced this in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

According to the report, the strategy for an interim administration is a devious way to disregard the constitution, undermine civil rule, and throw the country into an avoidable catastrophe.

“The illegality is totally unacceptable in a democracy and to the peace-loving Nigerians.”

“This is even more so that the machination is taking place after the peaceful conduct of the elections in most parts of the country. The planners, in their many meetings, have weighed various options, which include, among others, sponsoring endless violent mass protests in major cities to warrant a declaration of a State of Emergency.”

“Another is to get frivolous court injunctions to forestall the inauguration of new executive administrations and legislative houses at the federal and state levels.”

The service, on the other hand, firmly cautioned those behind the conspiracy to abandon their nefarious plots and orchestrations.

The DSS warned all stakeholders and Nigerians to be wary of being used as tools to undermine the country’s peace and stability.

It also stated that it is closely watching the situation and will not hesitate to take decisive and required legal action against the criminals.
