The Director-General of Nigeria Films Corporation, Chidia Maduekwe has been elected the chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Ohafia local government area of Abia State caucus.
This came after an inaugural meeting that took place at his residence on the 10th Day of January, 2021.
A statement signed by M.U. Ayi, Esq., Secretary of APC in the local government, Rt. Hon. Prince Arua Arunsi (OFR) was also elected the Deputy chairman while Barr. Mbila Uma Ayi, emerged as the secretary of the caucus.
In accordance with APC constitution 2019, Article 12:14 as amended, six persons which include Mr Obasi Uba, Hon. Sampson Orji, Engr. Ndukwe Agu, Chief Ndukwe Ikoh, Chief Dennis Ibe, and were Barr. Udo Uduma were unanimously co-opted into the caucus.

Part of the resolutions reached at the meeting, according to the statement includes, “To ensure and uphold at all times peace and unity within the party at the LGA by addressing all subsisting disagreements among members.
“To strengthen the party constructively, for our electoral successes in future.
“To assist in the promotion of party ethics based on constitutional guidelines.”
The next Ohafia L.G.A. caucus meeting is fixed for the 5th Day of April, 2021.
