Abia-born businesswoman and the MD/CEO of Greinmasters Global Limited, Dr Lilian Chinasa Obenwa popularly known as Igolo Southeast has felicitated with Muslims in Nigeria at the occasion of Eid-El-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast, urging all faithful to adhere to the teachings of Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
Dr. Obenwa who is also the MD/CEO of COBEN Consulting Services Ltd in a goodwill message to Muslim ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast urged that they should maintain same piety and soberliness observe within the fasting period and ensure that the teachings of the holy Qu’ran remains a model for their daily interactions.
She further admonished religious leaders across the country to use their positions in advocating love, unity and peaceful co-existence among Nigerians regardless of religious, ethnic and political differences.
She appealed that all well meaning citizens should shun inflammatory utterances, tribal bigotry and ethnic jingoism and embrace love, religious tolerance and brotherliness.
According Dr. Obenwa, the country cannot achieve meaningful development in an environment of antagonism, hate and mutual suspicion, appealing that tolerance and love should be the watchword, especially at these trying times in the country’s history.
