Candidate of APC in Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency of Abia State, Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke has congratulated the former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the party, Bola Tinubu on his emergence as the presidential flag bearer of APC in 2023 general elections.
He described Tinubu as a savvy administrator and a man of great democratic record who has risen through the political ladder and contributed greatly to the entrenchment of democratic rule in the country.
In a congratulatory message on Thursday, Dr. Okeke said the massive support Tinubu received at the just concluded special convention of the party in Abuja is a testimony of how much he is trusted and valued in the country’s political discourse.
He also applauded Tinubu for being a visionary leader and striving for a people-centered policy since his foray in the Nigerian politics in 1992.
“A true leader builds others while building himself. One who thinks and considers others while pursuing his ambition. You are precisely who you say you are. Bola Tinubu is a savvy administrator who set the groundwork for Lagos State’s modernization as well as a visionary political leader with a track record of building people and organizations.
“He is a visionary and purposeful leader who has steadily ascended the political ladder in the country since 1992, battling for the democratic rule against all odds, striving for people-centered development, and promoting visionary and purposeful leadership.
“Tinubu’s brilliant record of public service, foresight, grit in party formation and administration, as well as the fortitude he displayed in battling for the entrenchment of democracy in Nigeria, are unquestionably deserving of the great regard and trust he received at the National Convention,” he said.
The National Assembly member hopeful also expressed optimism that with Tinubu as candidate of the party, APC will emerge victorious at the Presidential election in 2023.
Dr. Okeke also congratulated other aspirants who vied for the party’s ticked at the convention, urging them to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and support the party’s candidate to secure victory.
