Dr. Chidia Maduekwe Rolls Out Free Training On Film Production For Abia Indigenes

As part of efforts to harness talents in the multi-billion dollar film industry and to empower Abians for self-reliance, the MD/CEO National Films Corporation, NFC Dr. Chidia Maduekwe has concluded plans to train young person from Abia State on film production.

The special training which is expected to last for a period of four days will take place from 28- 31 December, 2021.

ABN TV gathered that the special training will cover script writing, film production management, film editing and film acting.

A release signed by Dr. Maduekwe on Sunday indicates that participants will be expected to develop a script, act and produce a short film which will be premiered at the closing ceremony of this event.

Venue for this special training programme is the Asaga Village Square inside NFC Mobile Audiovisual Training Platform (MAV -1).

Dr. Maduekwe further noted that the 4 best students will be sponsored for further training in film making at the prestigious National Film Institute, Jos, Plateau State.
