“Rather than moving to the beer parlor, Muslims who are in this habit should celebrate in reflecting on how to improve on the material condition of the people and better the society,” he said.

He condemned some Muslims who, immediately they leave prayer ground, end up in beer parlours, stressing that such act is anti-Islam.

He called on Muslims known for spending hours praying and reciting Quran in the mosque and extorting people to check their action, adding that they are expected to engage in viable economic activities to fend for their families.

The Cleric prayed for peace in Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
