A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu has welcomed the State Working Committee, SWC of the party led by its chairman, Dr. Alwell Asiforo Okere to the LGA.
The SWC members were in the local government on a working visit on Friday to galvanise support and to assure supporters that the PDP is a party that cares about them.
In a statement made available to ABN TV, Don Lulu while welcoming Dr. Okere and his team, assured them of the total support, loyalty, and commitment of the party faithful in Umuahia North.
“The tour is very important, as it will help sensitize and galvanize Abians to continuously support the PDP as a party of choice in Umuahia North and Abia in general,” he said.
Don Lulu also urged supporters, both old and new to ensure they take advantage of the ongoing continuous voter’s registration exercise to obtain their permanent voter’s card, PVC to enable them participate in the 2023 election and vote for candidates of choice.
He is one of the leaders of the party in his Nkwoachara Ward, Umuahia North local government area.
