As part of activities marking the birthday celebration of the founder and chairman of the Don Lulu Foundation, H.E Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, the charity organization has concluded plans to empower no fewer than 100 Abians with Point Of Sale(POS) machines as well as guarantee a loan of fifty to two hundred thousand naira to the beneficiaries.
This empowerment scheme is in partnership with the office of the Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State on Humanitarian Affairs,NGO Matters and Social Development.
The Foundation says this is part of its commitment to fight poverty and engage the people, especially the youths, meaningfully. بلاك جاك
In a statement on Monday, the foundation board says it has already paid the counterpart funding and guarantee for the beneficiaries to access start-up loan to kick start their business. العب وربح
You may also wish to recall that the Don Lulu Foundation recently trained and empowered over 600 Abians on agriculture skill acquisitions and also assisting them to access loan from the Central Bank through the Arise Corporative society to develop their services
The Don Lulu Foundation has embarked on various projects aimed at bringing succour to the poor and less privileged in the society.
Some of the projects includes, building of houses for poor families, procurement and installation of transformers in rural communities, payment of hospital bills for indigent families ,as well as payment of school fees and award of scholarships to students among others.
