Deputy Speaker, Kalu Congratulates Ex-Abia Gov, Senator T. A. Orji On 74th Birthday

Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu has congratulated the former Governor of Abia State, Senator Theodore Ahamefula Orji on his 74th birthday today.

Appreciating God for the blessing of life, the Deputy Speaker who represents Bende Federal Constituency of Abia State described Senator Orji as a renowned statesman and devoted public servant who throughout his illustrious civil and political careers demonstrated unwavering dedication to various causes, earning respect and admiration from his colleagues and constituents.

Kalu noted that Orji who represented Abia Central Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th National Assembly contributed significantly to the economic and political developments of Abia and Nigeria in general, saying that posterity would be kind to him.

The Deputy Speaker added that the septuagenarian is a quintessential leader and an inspiration to many people in Abia State and the nation at large.
