The former Kogi State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dino Melaye, has joined the ongoing supremacy battle between Nigerian Afrobeats megastars Wizkid and Davido.
Melaye argued that Davido is “undoubtedly” the leader of the Nigerian music industry and most commercially successful globally.
On his X handle on Wednesday, he wrote: “Davido is undoubtedly the 001 in the Nigerian music industry and undoubtedly the most patronized globally.”
Recall that Wizkid and Davido were recently engaged in a fierce social media war on X.
Davido later challenged Wizkid to a hit battle but the Starboy boss had yet to reply.
