A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC Chief Daniel Eke has declared his intention to contest for 2023 Governorship election in Abia State, assuring that he will modernize the state if elected governor.
He said he will make the people proud, and make Abia a modern state with good roads, health facilities, good education, security as well as introducing modern technologies that will be a means of generating income in the state.
Eke who declared before his supporters on Friday added that under him as governor, traditional rulers won’t be left behind, promising that he will carry them along in all that is done in the state.
Eke emphasized that he has come to restore peace in the state adding that the time has come for the state and the people in it to enjoy good leadership through excellent service.
Eke urged the people to join him as he enters into the contracts to; Reclaim, Restore and Modernize the state.
In his remarks, the state Chairman of APC, Rt Hon.Iheanacho Obioma said “democracy is for clarity contest,and all votes must count.Propaganda will never make a leader, therefore the party will be reclaimed and no one can take the party away from them.”
Hon. Iheanacho encouraged members of the party not to relent in all they do, assuring that as leaders they are making sure that everyone who is contesting under the platform of the party is given equal right.
