All is now set for the final burial of late Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Njoku Polycarp Obinna who passed away at the age of 57.
Before his death on Nov. 16, 2023 late CSP Obinna served in Abia State Police Command as OC SIIB of the state.
A burial arrangement signed by his son, Basil Chukwuemeka Njoku described his late father’s death as painful, announcing that he would be committed to mother earth at his country home Ochii Ogwa, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State on Friday, Feb. 16.
The burial arrangement says his body will leave mortuary at 6am and have a brief stop over at his Umuahia residence where he will be received by host community.
His body will thereafter be received at Abia State police command headquarters by the Commissioner of Police, CP Kenechukwu Onwuemeile where a last respect will be paid to him.
A requiem mass will hold at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church Ogwa after which he will be laid to rest.
