Cristiano Ronaldo Reacts To Varane’s Retirement

Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has paid tribute to Raphael Varane after the Frenchman recently announced his retirement from football.

Ronaldo and Varane were former team-mates at Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Varane had on Wednesday announced his retirement from football.

Ronaldo and Varane were former team-mates at Real Madrid and Manchester United.

Varane had on Wednesday announced his retirement from football.

He decided to hang his boots after an injury-plagued stint at newly promoted Serie A side Como.

Varane took to Instagram to announce his retirement.

However, replying to Varane’s post announcing his retirement, Ronaldo said:

“A great career and a football legend! Congratulations for everything, brother. I hope to see you soon.”
