The minister in charge of Presbyterian Church Nigeria, Solid Rock Parish, Umuahia, Abia state, Rev. Ezera Ume has called on Nigerians to always abide by all measures outline by World Health Organization (WHO) and Federal Ministry of Health and relevant agencies to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In a chat with ABN TV on Sunday in Umuahia, the clergy said his church has taken the lead by sitting on 2 persons per pew, adding that every worshipper was putting on face mask in addition to the running water for handwashing and sanitizers placed at the entrance of the church hall.
He also said these protocols are being observed to prevent his church members from contracting the virus, emphasizing that it is his wish that his church does not record any case of the disease.
Rev. Ume expressed optimism that in no distant time, the country will overcome the pandemic.
