As Abia continues to records an astronomical increase in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19, the Chancellor of Gregory University Uturu, Prof Gregory Ibe has urged the people of the State to commit their cares, fears, and affairs to God in order to attract divine provision and protection.
In a release signed by the PAR, Media & Public Relations of the University, Sleek Ogbonnaya Ogwo, Prof. Ibe also urged Abians to observe all safety measures prescribed by health professionals.

Prof Gregory Ibe recently, while interacting with some Abia based Journalists via Skype said ”The well-being of every Abian matter to God, which is why we must entrust our cares to him at all times, especially during this dangerous period of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, in the face of the rising demographic trend of confirmed cases in our state, I counsel all Abians to be more safety-conscious while assuming direct responsibility by adjusting their lifestyles in conformity with COVID-19 protocols”.
ABN TV had reported that Prof Ibe had made donations of food palliatives, test kits, digital infrared thermometers, ambulances, fumigation services, and hand sanitizers following the outbreak of COVID-19.
