A leading private university in Nigeria, Gregory University Uturu has revealed how it has been able to manage the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic to keep its campus free of the disease.
The university says following the outbreak of the disease in the first quarter of 2020, the school management reacted appropriately by rolling out multiple approaches geared towards preventing and mitigating the harsh consequences of the global scourge.
In a statement signed by ProGIMA, Prof Gregory Ibe Media Associates, the university among other measures put in place to respond to the pandemic immediately established a COVID-19 research team constituted by erudite scholars who have many years of industry experience in disease control, pharmacology, and pharmacogenetics.

“With these measures in place, Gregory University Uturu has definitely added health impetus to her already established status as the most conducive environment for knowledge transfer.”
