An organisation, Second Coming Nigeria Limited has announced a donation of cooking gas worth about 5.5 Million Naira to about 4,375 Abians.
Announcing the donation in a release signed by the Secretary to Abia State Government and Chairman of the COVID-19 Committee of the State, Barr. Chris Ezem, the state governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu expressed gratitude to Dr. Basil Ogbuanu, the Managing Director/CEO of SECOND COMING NIGERIA LIMITED over the donation.
Intending beneficiaries are advised to visit the SECOND COMING GAS PLANT at Ahiaeke Ndume, adjacent to Goat Market Market along Lodu Ndume Road, Umuahia with a maximum of 8kg cylinder per person for refilling of cooking gas at no cost.
“The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, Ph.D., on behalf of the Government and good people of Abia State heartily appreciates Dr. Basil Ogbuanu, the Managing Director/CEO of SECOND COMING NIGERIA LIMITED for graciously donating 35,000 kg of cooking gas valued at =N= 5.5 Million Naira in support of the Abia State Government’s against the COVID-19 Pandemic in the State,” the release said.
The state government cautioned that this must however be done only within the lockdown grace period ending on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 2 pm.
“All interested persons must wear their face masks and there must not be more than 10 persons at a time in the premises. Social distance must be maintained at all times” the statement concluded.
