COVID-19: Group Donates PPEs To Journalists In Abia (Photos)

Rotary Club of Nigeria, Zone 4 Umuahia Abia state comprising Umuahia, Umuahia central, Umudike central, Umuahia North, and Umuahia government house has donated personal protective equipment to journalists in the state in appreciation of their service in information dissemination during this COVID-19.

The Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator, Mrs. Onyinye Ralph-Nwachukwu while speaking with ABN TV in Umuahia on Saturday said members made up of young men and women who are in the business of serving humanity came together to think of how to appreciate media workers whom she said risk their lives as frontline workers to feed the public with accurate information regarding coronavirus.

According to Mrs. Raph-Nwachukwu, there is a need for journalists to also remain safe while discharging their functions.
