The Commissioner for Transport, Dr Christian Mmadubuko, as well as officials of the ministry, Anambra Traffic Management Agency today Tuesday 24th March 2020, visited bridgehead Onitsha to inspect passengers’ manifests of all inter-State commercial buses entering into Anambra state.
Dr Mmadubuko said that the exercise was in line with Governor Willie Obiano’s directive that all persons coming into the state from other parts of the country, must be documented for easy tracking in case of eventual case of Coronavirus.
The Commissioner equally used the infrared thermometer to check temperatures of interstate passengers during the exercise.
An appreciable number of major interstate commercial vehicles obeyed the directive.
