Court Remands Man For Impregnating Neighbour’s 12-Year-Old Daughter In Lagos

One Egbebiyi Temitope has been arraigned before a magistrates’ court sitting in Ogba for raping his neighbour’s 12-year-old daughter.

The police have slammed on Temitope a two-count charge of rape and impregnating an under-aged girl and if found guilty may be jailed for 14 years.

The prosecutor, DSP Kehinde Ajayi, told the court that the accused had raped the girl in the first instance and warned her not to tell anyone and thereafter continuously had s*x with her, but things went south after the girl became ill and a medical test revealed that she was pregnant.

He said following the medical report the girl confessed to her parents that the accused had engaged her in secret s*x severally. العاب اون لاين

The defendant’s plea was not taken following a motion by the prosecutor that the matter is referred to the Department of Public Prosecution (DPP) for advice. تعلم لعب البوكر

The Magistrate, Mrs. E. Kubenije, ordered his remand in a correctional centre pending the DPP’s report and adjourned to July 13.
