Court Orders VeryDarkMan To Cease Defamatory Posts Against Prophet Jeremiah

The FCT High Court, presided over by Justice Nwosu Iheme, has granted an injunctive order restraining Mr. Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, from further defaming Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufenyi through social media platforms.

The court’s decision comes after Prophet Jeremiah filed a statement of claim in July 2024, alleging that VeryDarkMan had posted libelous content on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms, causing him “incalculable damage” and public ridicule.

According to the plaintiff’s lead counsel, Joel Karatu Esq., VeryDarkMan’s posts were not only defamatory but also constituted cyberbullying, harming Prophet Jeremiah’s reputation among his church members, business partners, and global associates.

The court’s order maintains the status quo, prohibiting VeryDarkMan from further posting defamatory content against Prophet Jeremiah. The plaintiff’s legal team intends to tender additional evidence of the alleged libelous posts during the trial.
