Court Adjourns Till 12noon To Allow FG File Charges On Why Nnamdi Kanu Should Be Detained Further

The Court of Appeal on Monday adjourned till 12noon in a stay of execution filed by the federal government, demanding further detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

ABN TV reports that the federal government through the Ministry of Justice filed a stay of execution after the court last week discharged and acquitted Nnamdi Kanu of terrorism related charges.

The court of appeal during hearing, had denied the prosecutors an adjournment plea as Nnamdi Kanu’s lead counsel, Mike Ozekhome argued that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released before any adjournment.
