Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze hopes to recover in time for the Europa League final against Manchester United.
Chukwueze was stretchered off in the 29th minute of Villarreal’s semi-final second leg tie against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday night.
The Yellow Submarine won 2-1 on aggregate after holding the Gunners to a 0-0 draw.
The Nigeria international now have few weeks to recover from the injury before the final against Premier League giants Manchester United.

He took the social media to celebrate Villarreal’s success, while also hoping to make a return to the pitch soon.
“To the finals , Can’t wait to be back soon . Thank you all for your messages,” Chukwueze wrote on Instagram.
The final will be staged in Gdansk, Polland on Wednesday, May 26.
